Intraductal Research
Intraductal research uses procedures and technologies designed to access and interrogate the ductal-alveolar systems of the human breast, and include nipple aspiration, ductal lavage, and ductoscopy. The aim of this research is to develop new methods for breast cancer risk assessment, detection, prevention, and treatment.

The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is currently funded to conduct research on the normal breast. To learn more about the Foundation's research, click here.

Biennially, in conjunction with our International Symposium, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation gives out pilot grants. These grants are designed to nurture the field of intraductal research. To learn more about the research that our grantees are pursuing, click here.

We also have available on our website a regularly updated list of published research that is using and advancing the intraductal approach. To learn more, visit our library.
